Welcome to the 2025-26 school year! 

I’m excited and grateful to be returning to Pacific Drive for my second year as principal!  Last year brought some amazing progress and experiences for our students and families and I am certain that the 2025-2026 school year will bring the same.  

Again this year, Pacific Drive will be home to one of two Spanish Dual Language Academy programs in the Fullerton School District.  Spanning grades TK through sixth, the DLA program not only will support growing bilingual and biliterate skills with students, but will also celebrate the rich cultural diversity here at Pacific Drive.

Our Co-Teach program has expanded this year and we now proudly will have all students with Individualized Education Plans (IEP) fully included into our general education classrooms.  Pacific Drive has always been an accepting home for students of all abilities, and with this new addition, grades TK through sixth will have opportunities to learn and receive their special education services with typical peers and inclusive practices.

Our second year as a Community Schools Partnership School is here as well, and we are excited to continue to operate community supports like the Dolphin Market and Parent Classes like we did last year.  Pacific Drive will continue to have two mental health counselors on campus who will operate out of our new Student Wellness Center classroom.  Our goal is to ensure students are not only growing academically, but receiving support for social emotional and mental health needs as well.  If you have any questions about the resources offered here at Pacific Drive, please reach out to our Social Services Assistant, Mrs. Shimizu, in the main office. 

Thank you all again for supporting your students in their educational journey and preparing them for another successful and fun school year.  Most of all, thank you for collaborating with us here at Pacific Drive to ensure all students attend school regularly and maximize their experience while they learn here as Pacific Drive Dolphins! 

A friendly reminder that the first day of school for students is Monday August 11th.  Class starts promptly at 8:15 am.  You can find the bell schedule for this school year on our website should you have more questions.  Thank you!

¡Bienvenidos al año escolar 2024-25! 

Es un privilegio para mí presentarme como el nuevo director de la Escuela Primaria Pacific Drive.  Después de 7 años en el Distrito Escolar de Fullerton, me siento honrado de haber encontrado un hogar aquí en Pacific Drive y espero conocer a los estudiantes y sus familias.  Me complace anunciar que nuestra subdirectora, la Sra. María Rojo, regresará un año más a Pacific Drive.  Valoramos su conocimiento y experiencia y ambos estamos entusiasmados de continuar sirviendo a los estudiantes, las familias y el personal de Pacific Drive. 

Tuve la oportunidad de conocer a algunos de nuestros increíbles estudiantes y familias de Pacific Drive al final del año escolar pasado y estoy muy ansioso por seguir conociendo a más de ustedes.  Puedo decir que Pacific Drive tiene una comunidad próspera, vibrante e involucrada y estoy emocionado de ser parte de eso.  Si está interesado en involucrarse más con nuestra comunidad de delfines, no dude en pasar y hablar conmigo o con la Sra. Rojo sobre cómo unirse a nuestra PTA. 

En Pacific Drive estamos muy emocionados de ser parte del Programa de Escuelas Comunitarias. Como parte de nuestro Programa de Asociación de Escuelas Comunitarias, nuestro objetivo es reunir las voces de todo nuestro personal, estudiantes y familiares para garantizar que tengamos sus pensamientos e ideas para apoyar las necesidades de los estudiantes, el personal y las familias dentro de este programa.  

Quiero darles la bienvenida a todos para que pasen y saluden o hagan cualquier pregunta que puedan tener sobre el próximo año escolar.  Valoro sus comentarios y comunicación y espero seguir intentando hacer de Pacific Drive un lugar seguro y acogedor para que sus estudiantes aprendan y crezcan. Si podemos trabajar juntos para brindarles a nuestros estudiantes de Pacific Drive la oportunidad de "explorar, crear e innovar", ¡sé que podemos ver un crecimiento tremendo en más de un sentido! 

Un recordatorio amistoso de que el primer día de clases para los estudiantes es el lunes 12 de agosto.  La clase comienza puntualmente a las 8:15 am.  Puede encontrar el horario de campana para este año escolar en nuestro sitio web si tiene más preguntas.  ¡Gracias!
